Terms of Service

UniPrep is an independent, student-run platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shiv Nadar University (SNU) or Shiv Nadar Foundation.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using UniPrep ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Use of the Platform

• Eligibility: Access is restricted to current students of Shiv Nadar University. You must use your @snu.edu.in email address for authentication.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Prohibited Actions: You may not share your account with others. You may not attempt to download, scrape, or record content that is designated as view-only.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on UniPrep, including videos, PDFs, text, and graphics, is the intellectual property of the respective content creators (instructors) or UniPrep. Your purchase grants you a limited, non-transferable license to view the content for personal educational purposes for one semester.

4. Purchases and Access

• Payments: All payments are processed through our secure third-party payment gateway.
• Access Period: Access to purchased bundles is limited to the current semester and expires on the date of the final exam for that course (Last sem end date).
• No-Sharing: Sharing of access or content is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent account suspension without refund.

5. User Content

If you apply and are accepted as an Instructor, you retain ownership of the content you create but grant UniPrep a license to host and sell that content on your behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any university policies or copyright laws.

6. Limitation of Liability

UniPrep provides educational resources "as is." While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee any specific academic outcome. We are not liable for any technical failures, data loss, or indirect damages arising from the use of the Platform.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users, instructors, or the Platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
